To recap, last week, students worked on the Easter Story in a unique way by finding hidden plastic eggs around the class each egg containing an important symbol of the Easter Story! Hopefully, your child shared this special booklet with you explaining this amazing story using the symbols found! They were very engaged in this dramatic story.
As an end-of-the-day fun activity, I organized a yummier egg hunt (chocolate Easter eggs) for the grade 2/3's to enjoy. Each student were allowed to find 10 chocolate eggs each!
Also, in language, we worked on specialized language centres to shake things up! I assume your child showed you their purple Easter folders containing these EGGcellent centres: Bizarre Bonnet, Home Sweet Home, Hidden Eggs, and a Very Bunny Experience. We are voting on Tuesday, for the best in each centre, so if you wouldn't mind, returning them for the vote! Thanks!
Math Test: Students did extremely well overall on their Multiplication and Division test last week! Well done by all! Now we get down to some serious business and learn about money!
HOMEWORK THIS WEEK: Math homework will be assigned for these next three days. Be sure to check your child's agenda for which pages to be done.
Reminder: Friday is a PD day, no school for students!
