Well, we are in our final month of Grades 2/3!!  I can't believe have FAST time is flying!
I plan to keep a regular schedule from now until the final week of school.  That means, I will be assigning homework for three more weeks (actually that means 3 more assignments, so it doesn't sound so bad...lol).

Good luck to our Track and Field Team Meet Monday!  Go Eagles!

THRoW - Students are to write a compare and contrast paragraph following this format below..
Sentence 1 - Topic sentence to introduce what you are comparing / contrasting
Sentence 2 - One similiarity between the two topics
Sentence 3 - Another similarity between the two topics
Sentence 4 - One difference
Sentence 5 - Another difference
Sentence 6 - Closing sentence

That means EVERY paragraph should be a minimum of 6 sentences.  See the chart below to help your child with some helpful words...

We have one final assessment in Science to do before the year's end along with a music test on the recorder...

Students SHOULD BE SPENDING 10 MINUTES A NIGHT on the highlighted songs in their black Music duo tangs every night.  We are moving a lightning speed and students are eager to learn more and more new songs! So am I!!

Winking SmileyHold on, parents, this year WILL eventually come to an end!  I promise you!
