Gr. 2/3: The Media Literacy Survey that I said was coming home yesterday (Oooops!) will be coming home tonight for your to complete by FRIDAY.
Gr. 2 - In Social Studies, we are beginning a unit on Family Traditions and Heritage and I need your help to gather family history information. Please sit down with your child
tonight and complete the family information sheet at the front of your child's Social Studies book.
Gr. 3 - In Social Studies, we are beginning a unit on Living and Working in Ontario. More information to follow once we get rolling!
Math Both Grades are starting a unit on 3D figures.

SECRET QUESTION: Give any example of a form of media.
Parents, your child is EXPECTED to participate in The Great Poetry Race on the weekend. The weekly focus poem must be read at least 3 TIMES. I have sent home tracking form to use. When this form is full, continue any lined sheet of lined paper and write the title of the poem, and signature of the adult who listened to it. I am very disappointed to see that many students are not reading their poem at home. As a consequence, students will lose their first recess and spend it copying out the poem (yes, very drab and wasteful of time - this is meant to be a deterrent). This week, I had a whopping 8 students affected!
