Happy Friday Parents!

Religion:  In Religion, we are preparing for our St. Chris School Mass to be celebrated on Friday, October 23 in our school gym at 1:30 pm.  All are welcome to attend.  Classes 2/3W, 3K, and 3/4F will be putting on the mass.  Our theme of this Mass is All Souls/All Saints Day.  Each student in all classes will be responsible for briefly researching a Saint and finding a photograph to be posted in our gym for others to enjoy.  Also, your child might have a reading or role to play in the mass if he/she volunteered, so be on the lookout for readings to practise in the agenda.  Please keep this practise copy in the front pocket of the agenda for easy access when rehearsing. Math:  We are staring our Multiplication Madness today with a focus on x 0 (Zero the Superhero ALWAYS wins)!  So anything x 0 is always 0 - because Zero is a superhero who always wins!  Each student will get a x 0 bracelet that once he / she has mastered those facts 0-10, he will have that bracelet posted on his bulletin board spot.  Each time a new bracelet is mastered with a different timestable,  that bracelet will link onto the existing one and create a chain!  Eventually, these chains get quite long!  The longer the chain, the more facts they have mastered!  Students REALLY enjoyed this last year and it turns them into Multiplication Monsters!
